I keep seeing "before they nerfed tech" and "since they nerfed tech"...
What did they DO that nerfed it? I been out of the game a few months

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

It wasn't. CCP just reduced the price to what it was when tech was only ludicrously expensive, rather than super ludicrously expensive.

They made a series of moongoo tower reactions, one of which lets platinum and cobalt be fused dragonball gt style into technetium at a 1:10 ratio, effectively capping the price at 130k or something like that

You can only apply so many patches of duck tape to fix a problem before you end up flying winmatar.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Kai Earrings or Fusion Dance style?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The price capping of tech is not absolute, but rather relative to the price of the input materials of the alchemy reaction.

CCP just made it cheaper, not as cheap as it should be to obtain. if they really wanted to nerf tech, they would have worked on t2 production. its still way higher than it should be.

I love it how people think that 16bil a month per moon goes a long way in a huge alliance.

I mean, that's like, what, replacing 32 battleships?

Even if you had 30, tech moons that's only 480bil a month, so, 100 dreadnaughts.

OMG

now, if you personally owned a tech moon, that'd be a big deal but even them, not really if you were after a mom or something like that.

sorry, 3/4s of CCP's devs are busy working on solving the much more important 'miner bumping' problem, technetium can wait another 3 years

yeah uh exaggerating the amount of ISK tech moons generate doesn't help anybody

your figure there assumes that tech is at 220k+

Shouldn't you be..like...a little more defensive about tech?
So that CCP doesn't nerf it even further...?

I'm going off old numbers and hear say tbh, that being that tech moons make 16 bil a month.

My point stands that even if this were true, it doesn't exactly go far when your alliance is in the thousands, constantly fighting and paying to replace ships.
