Unable to connect to Tranquility, forums.eveonline.com

I have been unable to access the forums or Tranquility server from my computer since shortly before downtime this morning. I've resorted to using my phone's 4G connection to post this thread as I could not properly log in via a proxy. I've already contacted my isp and this does not seem to be a widespread outage.

tracert on TQ ended at "srv248-e.ccp.cc 87.237.36.248"
tracert for eveonline.com an forums.eveonline.com ended at the same location as the route on TQ.

The tech support from verizon was able to assign my router a new ip address and mentioned that the issue may be with bogon filters.

I am also aware that there was a DDoS attack on some other major websites today but can only speculate that it is related.

If needed I still have access to support.eveonline.com so I can file a petition with more detailed info.
