POS Fuel Consumption Question

I seem to remember a Blog Post that mentioned that the fuel consumption of towers is now static, no matter how much Power grid or CPU is unused on the tower. Is this true?

I ask, because I know in the past it used to be that the tower would use less heavy water or liq Ozone depending on how much CPU or Powergrid was left unused.

Yes, that is correct. You can check the consumption in the "Show info"

Its now a flat rate, and its based on fuel blocks, rather than individual materials..

Large tower takes 40 blocks/hour
Medium 20 blocks/hour
Small 10 Blocks/hour

Still have to make the fuel out of the old materials though, and the blocks usually sell for 12-14k per block..

Awesome. Well not as much for my wallet, but at least it makes the Fuel Calculating features of a POS spread sheets easier to make! Lol
