So 8 months ago CCP Big Dumb Object wrote a dev blog ( http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=1929 ) about how we'll get "new faction modules and updated complexes".

Did that happen?

To a large extent, I have to say that yes they've delivered in filling up the gaps in the DED complexes. I think there might still be one or two missing out there but kudos for a job well done.

Not sure where you see in that blog anything about new faction modules though - that I've not heard about.

Thus far, all but the level 2 DEDs have been published.

Each site contains meta modules that were intended when the feature was first introduced, but were never given the chance to drop.

Sorry, wasn't clear there. The sites that have been introduced are dropping these modules.

Where once there were none, now there are some.

Just to be clear, are you stating that all factions should now have DED 3-10/10?

that is correct

now if they only made it so that the low end plexes had to be scanned for instead of letting bots or really bored people camp them 23/7.

Just to be certain, does this mean that the Serpentis 6/10 is now spawning in lowsec?

According to this there are still a couple of DED complexes above DED 2/10 missing. Noteably Serpentis DED 6, Gurista DED 3, Angel DED 3, 4 and 6, Blood DED 3 and Sansha DED 4. And given how fast the stealth-added DED 5 were noticed in the exploration channel, i am sure there would have been someone telling us about the above mentioned. ;)

And yes the static complexes should definatly be moved to the 'probe' system ... rare items should be just that.

I would also like to ask about some issues that have been mentioned - Gurista DED 5 being able to be ran in 5 minutes due to unlocked gates and some other complexes (angel DED 8 and 5) not despawning after the loot-holding structure has been killed (1). It's probably not high on the to-do list, but nonetheless it seems a bit flukey.

What kind of modules? I hope they're not guns, because on last check, meta5 t2s still do more dps than higher meta guns. How about balancing the expensive high meta mods so that they're actually worth using? Before introducing more window dressing.

There is one faction gun, tachs, that sees usage despite doing lower dps due to grid and cap concerns, but everything else, especially ACs, have no saving grace.

Then there are stuff like resistance plating, which are not worth using independent of t2 balancing...

I'm pretty sure the new faction items he was referring to are the deadspace items (ie pithum b-type medium shield booster?) that were unavailable due to there being no complex of the level to drop them (5/10. 7/10 etc)

^^ This

I have been in Angel space the last few Days/Weeks and i haven't come across any DED 4 or DED 6 (which they are missing in lowsec), so i am sceptic about 'everything above 2/10' being there now. Personal findings are anecdotal tho :).
