Rocket launchers in high, full tackle + ab in mids, armor buffer in low, armor rigs... slow as **** but if you can get a frigate or somethign to come close, I imagine it would do nicely :)

Has quite the EHP...

3x Capacitor Control Circuit

Goes around 2,000 m/s cold for around 6 minutes before running out of cap. Wrecks most AFs and close range destroyers. Obviously has major issues with survivability, but hey, that's kiting. Only been out in it a few times and a killed a hawk and numerous AC thrashers so far.

The Talwar and the Corax are more fleet ships then solo vessels. The Corax with just a MWD gets a blistering ~1440m/s. The Talwar comes in at 1700 m/s. If you fit them to kite you're killing a bit if their DPS. Good luck running opponents down too. They also can not hit the DPS extremes of most of the other destroyers.

The Talwar does consistent damage for a great distance. It's benefit is that is smaller themn most other mwd'ing Dessies out there. You can bring it on your small gang roam and not be laughed at.

Great insight. What would you rig it with? Not enough CPU for any launcher rigs. Shield rigs? Not enough shield to matter. Armor rigs? same. Astro rigs? also pointless.

I'd rather run CCCs and not have to worry about running my MWD non-stop to keep range.

You're in Shadow Cartel, so I suppose I would think you'd know what you're talking about, but when you don't make any suggestions, it's hard to take your post seriously.

24km point 30km plus damage.. not sure the web is going to help.. maybe tracking disruption or sensor damps instead of web

Thats because i'm a bit of a ****..

1. Your tank doesn't matter argument is wrong, Its a destroyer, its slower then a nano'd caracal, you are going to get caught at some point. thus you should have a tank (Unless your plan is to stay at 50 km and abuse LML's range while something else tackles? but i generally don't like to count on that). I would at least DCU tank it.
2. I don't think the new destroyers have the fittings for lml, i tried to make it work but gave up in the end. Any lml launcher fit you make ends up being severly gimped due to 90 of the ships fittings going only into that. With the range bonus Javelin rockets outdps lml up to 22km, and with a range rig that turns to 26km. Also rockets hit small moving targets better which is handy seeing how many AB frigs are out there right now.

So for short, i would go 1-2 polycarbons and 1-2 range rigs.. But then i would also completely change the fit :P

Ok, makes sense. But if I get caught by a nano caracal, I'm going down anyways. For almost all kiting fits, if you get within scram/web range, you're probably going to go down. Was just offering a fit I've had moderate success with. I do like the Javelin rockets thought though and I'm going to give that a try. Thank you for your constructive criticism ;)

Ohh of course, i mentioned the caracal just to emphasize just HOW slow dessies are now. No caracal is going to have a scram anyways.

But having that tank will be very nice if you for example, get a DD right on top of you.
