Is there a limit for bounty placements?

The bounty system is actually a great way to warn corps and business partners about the potential shady past of a particular character.

SInce I played many years I have come across alot of unpleasant people and corp thieves etc, so I would like to bounty them to help future corpmates avoid losses.

However, I have a big list. If the limit to bountying is less than say, a thousand, then I will have to rank them by how big a threat they could be.

So, is there a limit to the number of characters that you can bounty?

Truthfully, it's not much of a warning. It just means somebody doesn't like them for whatever reason.

The limit would be the amount of players actually playing the game, because some people have very big wallets.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Is there any way to get the ISK back at all under any circumstance besides face murder?

If so please remove it immediately.

I believe that if the person with the bounty happens to be inactive for a certain amount of time the bounty's are returned to the people who placed them.

They should cut that out Right Now.

Them not playing = Total Victory and them returning means you haven't forgotten.

Bounties for life = ISK Sink forever unless you PvP. \o/

make it so that the victim can pay the bounty from his own pocket and its a double isk sink

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

To bad your "warnings" will just drown in the sea of millions of other bounties just being added for fun now Smile

Everyone will have them now so gonna be hard to tell the real bad guys from the ppl who just got one for random lols.

Good concept, however, remember that you'll need to lose 5 times the Bounty's initial value in order to get completely clear of it. (since only 20% of losses are given as bounties).

If we are directly linking loss of assets as ISK loss, it's FAR cheaper to buy the bounty off yourself than to get blown up.

This, you would need to pay 5 times the bounty to have it removed.

*cackle* or just remove the lower limit of SS and let them pay with SS .... just to learn that with below -10 you won't be able to use StarGates(TM) anymore :) Through jump bridges might be still awailable. And Jump Ships .... would like to hear the crys of those pirates and bathe in their tears :)
