I know i know.. EVE have sound??!?!

More serious now.. I always enjoyed the soundtrack of the game, really love the work of Jon Hallur but after some years of playing the music start to get old..

Does CCP have any plans to introduce new music from Jon Hallur? I'm aware that it's possible to introduce the music we like into the game but it's not the same as new sounds from him or at least in the same style. Even if that it's not a FIS feature, or an important one it's still a thing that improves immersion into the game. (at least of me).

I too would like some new music, what ever happened to the man who made the original music? I believe every MMO company should have at least one sound man on staff.

I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid.

I completely support this idea. I remember how cool it was the first time I heard "Below the Asteroids". Made me really feel like I was lost deep in space exploring. And the first time I warped through an acceleration gate to fight with music rocking in the background mirroring the action perfectly.

Add some more epic music please, the Eve Jukebox just doesn't have enough songs on it.

Can we still play our own music in the jukebox?

Not only would I like to see new music, but I'd also like to see the current music re-encoded in something other than some terrible 48k/s vbr OGG or whatever crap bitrate it is now. ;P Nothing short of 192k in my opinion! What is this, 1997?

...FLAC would be nice :>

That is really nice :)

I´m sure that the implementation of new music its not a big investment, its just a matter of wanting to do it.
