Excellent, being an explorer is all about having perseverance. Not to mention that traveling to areas that are far from trade and mission hubs, systems with low population count / activity, will usually net you better results. After getting skilled up and using top equipment, you can then always compete with the others in the more populated areas.

Just remember:

Exploration is Eve's Final Frontier.
These will be the voyages of your Ship.
It's continuing mission: to explore strange new locations, to seek out new signatures and rewards, to boldly go where you've never gone before.
