Hey CCP if you don't want people to afk missions then remove aggressive mode from drones, pretty damn simple eh? I would really like to know the logic you used to introduce drone aggro. Drone boats are slow, the dps is low and micro managing drones was already a hassle and now I have to play the drone aggro meta game and stare constantly at my drone armor levels to recall them in and do even less dps.

My suggestion is to remove drone aggro completely and remove aggressive mode.

That's not a solution.

Someone will just macro it so it spams F over and over while it locks targets.

AFK mode is not magically "fixed" by disabling aggressive mode.

Yeah, let the new lv4 runners pay the high price for botting... The winners are defently not the general playerbase or CCP
Might aswell just log us off our accounts every 120seconds...Just to be sure...

If this was a solution to afk'ers, it has spilled all over the EULA obideing players in highsec doing missions.

Well sort of: a nocits with 8 tractor beams can drag all the wrecks to it. then release the salvage drones, walk away and come back in 15 minutes and all your salvage will be waiting in cans for you to scoop up.

See all those drone skills are not wasted. :)

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

Automated and AFK gaming are to different things, getting drones shot are not going to stop bots, they are just going to switch weapon systems. Before it was possible to just leave your dual rep domi inside lvl 4 missions with full room aggro, and tab out for 20 min and do something else. That problem would be solved to removing the auto targeting option from drones.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.
