The only limit is money, and of course tricks and confusion. Put enough bounty, to trick people to attack, be kind of fun.

If only Plex prices were lower, more abuse could happen.

Money is not even a limit. I can put a 100k bounty on a LOT of people. That means they lose what they are flying. I can do that for months. So can everyone. You can shut down a corp with 5 million.

Are there some limitations I glossed over? From what I can see a bounty can be put on anyone. No sec status limit. If this is the case, what stops anyone from just putting a 100k bounty on those miners in his favorite belt? Now they become legal targets for everyone. Lots of giggles to be had.

Lets say a wardec'd party does not want to fight, put a bounty on the offending corp. This of course would trigger said corp to do the same to them. Now nobody undocks. Do they expire? Don't like your CEO, put a wardec on him. Don't want him to know it's from you? Do it from an alt. Make the bounty high enough and watch trust of corp members crumble.

Is this secretly a means of getting people out of hi-sec?

I think you are mixing up a few things here. Putting a bounty on someone is no more then a flag, one saying "you will get ISK if you pop this ship". It doesn't mean CONCORD is going to automaticly approve of actions being taken against the target individual. You will still need to properly gank or take out the target in lowsec to claim a bounty.

Also, I'm curious why you think a bounty on a CEO would harm a corp's trust? We currently abuse the system to put bounties on each other to incentify people into attacking us for fun. Can't wait untill these bounties extend to ship loss so fights in lowsec (that more often then not, do not involve pod loss) will be more relevant to a larger number of players.

Placing a bounty on someone does not turn off CONCORD. You still need rights to shoot, or accept that you are doing a suicide gank to get a kill and a bounty.

New bouty system its better than broken old ( form idea and mechanic ) however here its main peoblem, its not so importand about how new bounty system works it self, its more importand how to hunt and catch other with bounty...In my opinion after patch nothing realy change on this matter, because like these days its almost imposible to kill or even catch somone with bounty.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

The amount of bounty on someone is irrelevant to how much isk you get for killing them, right? Since as I understand it, it's based on the amount of isk they lose, and not on the bounty they have on their head. Seems a bit odd if it's that way, since killing a person with 1 billion isk on their head or killing someone with 100k bounty is exactly the same, it's just based on what ship they're flying. Gives you no incentive at all to hunt anyone, just sit at a gate and wait for someone with any bounty at all to come through, no matter how small of a bounty. Unless I have this wrong?

20% of the ship value, if the bounty is less than this amount you get all of it. The point. however, of hunting a specific person is that you have a certain assurance that they'll pay out every time, but if you just bounties in general then sure, pop'em all!

I think they are waiting for big 0.0 Alliance to put Bounties on each other so people will camp them out. Watch they will put a 40 Billion Bounty on a mining division of a Alliance and it's a Win for CCP. Less "in game isk" and less fun for the 0.0 miners. Watch HS minnig return in style with this update cause no one will want to run level 4s being that you can't use a Drake anymore for anything and torps projection beened lowered to push people away from training missiles.

This is true. Players have been suggesting this exact kind of bounty system for years.
