Hmm, all my text disapeared. One sec.

Shouldn't my system be able to run 2 clients? I used to before, but activated my alt today and as soon as I launch client 2 my system lags like hell.

Intel I5-2500K @ 3.3 Ghz (can do 4.7 Oc'ed)
16 GB ddr3 @1600Mhz
game on sata2 raid-0 set, os on SSD
GTX 570 1280MB
Windowed mode, 1920x1200, inteval 1, max detail.

Is there something fubar with my puter, or is the game very powerhungry after last patch?

Are you playing in fixed window mode?

I am running 5 fine with an nVidia 560SE. You might have to turn down the graphics some in the Eve client to run it well. I have mine mostly on medium. Get 60fps without any problems on all the clients. I am also running them in windowed mode.

Seen the same after a while on a dual monitor setup - one of the clients drops from 60fps to 20fps and then gradually drops down to about 16fps. Restarting that client results in it returning to 60fps so I reckon there's a video memory leak somewhere. Edit - its not a main memory leak, nor does it appear to be threads stalling.

No, will that make it perform better?

My whole system starts lagging as soon as I launch the 2nd client, explorer, IE ++ , everything. I also have a dual screen setup. But think our issues arn't the same. Doesn't sound like it if only one of ur clients starts lagging.

Sadly cant compare my results to your modern PC gpu - cpu, i use few year old grafic cards gf9600gt and old amd 64x2 4600+

Two clients in window mode, one monitor.

Antialasing - Low
Post procesing -Low
Shader - Medium
Testure quality - Medium
Lod - High
Shadows - low
Interior efects - low
Interior shasow - low

Both clients show average 60fps (like before patch), with this setings, and more more than 60fps with full details, but while one client run in full window with max details.

All what i notice yesterday was black screan on my second client... today looks better.

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

My system is actually worse than yours and I run 4 clients with no issue.

If anything would be a bottleneck for you though I would say it's the processor. I5's really suck...should have gone for an I7.

Yeah I don't know why but for some reason EVE, windows 7 and windowed mode run wonky. Set it to fixed window though and it runs perfectly fine.

That's interesting...I do get more framerate with a fixed window but even still having them all in Window mode has never been an issue for me.

I also think it is a memory leak. Computer becomes terrible-mode after I try to run two clients... even when they are minimized.
