Just my opinion, give yours.

Algos:
I like it, solid design, I'm not a big fan of the "bubble" cockpits.
Looking at CCP inspiration for it they were able to design something really nice. (4)

Corax:
Awesome, the submarine design really worked great, it really looks like something ready for war.
My favourite of the four. (5)

Dragoon:
Doesn't this design already exists in another ship?
Very uninspired, and that flat surface on the top like if something is missing, it really looks "incomplete" (2)

Talwar:
Overall I do not deslike it, just the box on top could be better.
I always liked the Minmatar "wings", but cool wings are not enough.
A little more detail in the box, different angles, something ... you took your inspiration too much to the letter (3)

Final Score, 7 out of 10

Minmatar re-designs:
> Stabber, I like the new, but I liked the old more.
> Vaga, no opinion really, I still don't know if I like it or not
> Tempest, not bad, you didn't went overboard with the new lines, if you went, you would ruin it
> Vargur, I like it

With regard to the targeting UI, it's terrible.

I have almost exactly same opinion about new designs.
Caldari new dessie looks like **** war machine ready to spam battlefield with torpedoes... err... missiles.
Algos is cool and looks like mini carrier which is propably true. Those tip-window-cockipts look a but retro but well.. stylish.
Talwar.... well... not bad but it could be a lot better. Its just too plain for minmatar, too flat. I like front area but not "turret" top and rear.
Amarr new dessie... flat, boring, idea-off design. Worst of all new ships.

Stabbers - i like them. Old hulls needed to be revamped and they are. Looks cool, especially front light section and Vaga overall.
Tempest, good job. I was worried about ripping minmatar-soul from those ships but its ok, much modern but crude and industrial. Very cool. Vargur is king of the hill imo.

BTW. Compared to new mining frig - barges look outdated. Please update them to match new industrial design track.

My random, quick vent. Seeing as this post seems to be design related...

Why'd the Megathron-class ship design get destroyed after 9+ years of enjoyment. They looked amazing and tough! Now they look dinky and ridiculous.

The "re-design" doesn't make sense... I have no idea what look they (CCP) were going for.

Not cockpits. Protected sensor equipment for controlling drones.
Like dome mounts for radar
When you know what they are, or at least what they represent, it doesn't seem as bad.

GET OUT.
The new mega looks sleek while still keeping everything that makes it a mega. I love it.
