Good profession for casual single account player?

What profession is the best for player that wants to use just one character?

That's is the question.

I don't have much of play time. I have played this game for seven years. Sold all my characters and rolled just one new one.

Old friends are gone and I have real life stuff to worry about now.

Not a chance for getting tied up to pc game.

Missioning is awful, but surely soloable.

Exploration? Switching between scanning ship and dmg ship? All in one exploration ship?

Salvaging? Looting wrecks for rest of eve life? Shocked

Right now I can't use voice comms, no head set and usually when I have the time to play, wife is alread sleeping so yabbin in voice comms in the middle of night would lead into early destruction of my laptop. Lol Of course I can listen comms, no problems with that.

I like to keep one account up, just to see where this game evolves.

In PVP you lose ISK. So you should be able to make it too. With low gaming hours it's not easy to cover up 300 million ISK loss.

Tips?

Playing the market would be a choice, if you can find yourself some initial capital.

I did put all my ISK into playtime. Plex price is high...

So really fresh start for this character.

Griefing. Its instant gratification for low initial isk investment.
Just need a probe launcher and a salvager. Or just train up a frig and flip cans trying to get white knights to attack you.
Quick game experience for those with little time.

Science&Industry is good mostly-passive ISK. You can train up one character to do that, then us another to mission/pvp with, or whatever else you enjoy doing. Do some research, and you should be able to make enough on the industry character to supply a plex + spending funds every month.

You could do exploration in a Strategic Cruiser. All in one package. A bit expensive to get into ISK wise, not so much SP wise.

Plenty who now think suspect flags will keep people from taking their cans.

If you played for 7 years you should have some idea what you would like to do with limited time.

This is a good suggestion and kinda interesting in a challenging way.

It also has a decent learning curve...

T1 > Hi sec exploration (eg in a Myrmidon)
T2 > Low sec (eg in a cloaky Ishtar or perhaps a Pilgrim)
T3 > Wormholes/Null sec

im gonna say exploration, probably the most interesting. you may have to start off with a two ship setup and then go to a single ship setup(like t3 or recon or something).
