Running wine 1.5.18 on Debian Wheezy. Started the EVE client, it patched as it should and I could log in. At a quick glance things seems to work.

I don't complain, I really don't. But in a way I kind of miss when the patches made your trousers disappear or something Smile

I found it in the Internet from different sites - it`s a mix settings for nvidia and radeon.

Patch worked for me as well after i upgraded from wine 1.5.15 to 1.5.17. With the older wine version it just crashed

TBH, this patch cause the least number of issues for me in comparison to all previous patches.

A lot of times I find it easier to just compile the latest wine and apply the patches on by one. A lot of the earlier ones you don't have to use any longer.

I went straight to Retribution 1.0.1 today.

No issues whatsoever (WINE 1.5.18).

I'm a bit scared, to be honest.

Haha, typical linux behaviour: It just works, nonono, somethings wrong and I'll figure it out sooner or later!

Actually, I found out what isn't working as expected, and needs the usual amount of geek love (= nights and nights passed rummaging in the intarwebs with your best google-fu skills).

I can't start two clients with BOTH antialiased viewports. One of them must have the AA disabled. Or else the entire machine grinds to an hideous halt.
