I'd like an option to set the default settings for new cargo windows. The current system remembers settings for each specific cargo window, so that if I set ship_1's cargo window to compact mode and open that cargo window later, it's in compact mode. But if I open ship_2's cargo window, it will still not be in compact mode.

What I'm looking for is a way to affect the behaviour of all windows opened in the future (possibly for station and space separately). The main reason is that if you're flying around space looting cans, compact mode windows take up a lot less space on screen, and you can switfly drag contents to the HUD cargo button. There is also no point at all to Eve remembering individual cargo window settings, sinc each can or wreck is likely to get looted once...
