Heya,

So I just had a report from a corpy of sansha tracking disruptors being boosted. Didnt believe him as I had read there would be no changes to ewar and went to do a Forsaken Rally Point.

1. Spawns were moved. Boohoo =(
2. Got slapped by TDs.
3. Couldn't hit a BS at 20km with my tracking enhanced topskilled megapulse Nightmare.

So.. Apparently first of all they range disrupt a lot more now. Had two TDs on me which meant that I had less than half my normal range on guns. Switched to Scorch which could hit at 20 but couldn't hit due to the tracking. On a BS. So I waited for the TDs to drop.. which they didnt.

Now I just warped out in disgust as I couldn't kill anything... But imagine if this was a harder plex.. maybe with tacklers in it. You'd get hit by say... 5-6 TDs and tackled. Couldn't hit **** that wasn't moving straight towards you and you'd be murdered eventually.

Is this supposed to be like that or a mixup in code?

Sounds like we are back to the way thing was when Incursion was released, remember flying around perma jammed i caldari space... good times was not had by all...

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Just did a Sansha Watch in my legion and it really took me ages to clean up the second room. My 45km scorch range was reduced to 11km WITH optimal script. Going to get missiles or move to Blood raider space now.

..and when you try to kill the pesky TD'ing t2 frigate/cruiser hulls by using your trusty drones, you realise the damn NPCs primary the drones and there's nothing you can do about it at 20km.. as they won't get back to your bay in time when you pull them. (not to mention that they're not gonna kill anyone while in your drone hold).

Oh, and for funzies, CCP also decided to nerf player-TDs.

AFK-cloaking in a system near you.

Confirming that with two Battleship NPCs using tracking disruptor's it's almost impossible to land a single hit with any ammo type.
When you can land a hit it only "grazes" the target.
I had attempted to eliminate the ships TD'ing me before anything else but couldn't hit them. The NPCs also burn out to 30-40KM which even Scorch wasn't able to hit due to the reduced range.

Just to confirm this IS how it should be and we need to go and revise fittings, or is this another incident like the ECM fix for NPCs?

You mean it now takes some intelligence and skill to kill 20-30 enemy ships solo in PVE now that they swap targets to your drones and can actually ruin your pimped out ship with E-War in the same way players can?

Sounds like improvements too me, if I have to grind isk i'd rather it be more difficult and more fun.

Seriously though, the AI was rubbish and its an improvement and fixing NPCs to be more deadly and actually have E-War that works is a good thing.

Thought I was going nuts, glad to see Im not - isk printer toon just ran recon 1 and 2nd room I couldnt hit the side of a barn - 3xTE II's on the ac mach from 60km->10km versus a BS, was hitting thin air. Seemed a tad over the top but fair enough, the disruption before was a bit vanilla I guess.

They fixed tds, what did you expect? To continue as if they were still broken. The counter to tds (and damps) is a faster ship, and it is not hard to be faster than a sansha bs.
