Downtime can no longer be exploited to increase chances of finding a rare NPC spawn.

This is huge.

Sorry for cross posting , it was suppose to be here.

saying this is huge is like being told by that girl you had a one night stand with that you're the biggest she's seen.

tip; she was lying.

Ok , on 5 officers i ever found 4 of them were after DT.
Most of the corpies have similar statistics.

Now go do the math.

math says error small sample size.

i have never found an officer spawn after DT.
go do the math.

Of course you haven't renster sov usually does not spaw officers , nor there are drone officers to begin with.

how is it an issue reading? 5 is too small of a sample size to conduct any type of statistical analysis what so ever.

also i've never rented sov in my entire eve career, nor have i ever been to the drone regions. care to try again?

It's pretty difficult to predict the impact of this change.

You can presume that the developer's intention was to evenly spread the rare spawns across all timezones rather than favouring those that are online directly after downtime. You can presume that the developer did not wish to change the total amount of rare loot reaching the marketplace and simply wanted to spread the benefit out.

But it's highly unlikely that CCP has invested the amount of effort and intelligence required to ensure that the change is market neutral. To do so would require them to not only change the spawn mechanics without stuffing things up, but also to predict the behavior of the players post-patch.

So, short of a massive stroke of luck or amazing judgement on the part of the developer, we're going to see rare loot prices change to some degree. How much and in which direction is pretty much guesswork.

trit tags and the high meta items will be impacted, very minor I think.

yes, because not currently residing in 0.0 stops me understanding how 0.0 mechanics work, or stops me having ever lived there.

please, try. this flailing about like a fish out of water is amusing.
