I don't really mind, but does it really have to reset itself every time we log in? That's like super annoying when you don't live in highsec. CCP, at least let us decide which position is our default.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

It was probably done to prevent people making mass reimbursement petitions saying that the safety was off when they logged in

Agreed that we should be able to set a default, but in null sec dosen't the safety not work (ie you can shoot anyone even if it's green safety)?

I don't live in null, I live in low.

There are 17 pages of feedback in the information portal with no replys from devs for nearly a week. This is getting shipped regardless and will hopefully be patched asap after release. Just wait until tomorrow and post your feedback in the relevant thread. The reasons were given by CCP Greyscale on evetv yesterday but there were only 3500 ppl viewing at that time so the majority prolly wont notice till they undock and cant shoot something. Then the threadnaughts and shitstorm will begin.

This seems to be CCP's strategy on anything that gets negative feedback. From the Unified Inventory, to FW changes, to ship explosions, and now this, if a feature gets negative feedback, they completely ignore said feedback. They ship it anyway, and then spend the next 6 months trying to work it into something that doesn't infuriate actual players. Oh, but CCP listens to us now! ...yeah, if we agree with their initial proposals, they sure do!

I to noticed this, it's pretty annoying. I think it's a FANTASTIC feature for everyone (I don't even have to hit tab enter to nado some hauler in high sex yay), BUT having it reset the damn setting when I log back in is just fracking annoying and I'll likely forget when it's really annoying.

TLDR, setting needs to persist.
