Relocating assets, Just can't bring myself to do it...

So, my friends moved out into null and all my stuffs in low-sec about 40 jumps away...I'm naturally lazy so this is annoying to start with, while I relish the thought of heading out there and flying with them, I just can't bring myself to login and do all the logistical stuff of sorting it all out and getting someone to carrier jump it all over, I really wish this process was easier...and I was less lazy, but it's just not fun. I might just fly out there with a T3 and subs and reacquire everything.

Got me thinking though, could this stuff be easier? I watched the touney last night and the devs were on about a new class of capital, could we have a carrier solely dedicated to logistical/deployment purposes? Something that could carry fit ships (lots of them.) but without any combat potential...(Probably suggested a million times.)

TL;DR I'm lazy, I want to play and not run UPS/Parcelforce. Give me a new capital.

Don't move your stuff.
- Leave a backup in hisec for the day when you're eventually kicked out of null again and your stuff gets locked
- Sell the rest of your belongings, and rebuy again in null.

can always liquidate. Sure you will have a net loss, but at least you dont have to move it.

Edit: N/M thought you were moving high to lo. Black Frog only delivers to NPC Stations. Unless there is one nearby for use that won't work.

I thought about liquidating them, but I really don't need the ISK for this I just want the ships, all well fit and supplied. 2 battleships, one of each recon, one of each logi, dictors, ceptors etc etc...I probably will just leave them there, but I loves them all.

Yeah I could Frog them, but I bet even these guys wish this was easier (fit ship moving I mean.)

Destroy the Rigs and purchase new ones down there. Little expensive for Battleships but if your T2 Ships are T1 Rigged it is 2mil to 6 mil each on average depending on ship size and rig type.

That's a really good point about the fits.

Absolutely! I use very different fits in null then I do in Empire. Simple example: I am not going to use bombs much in lowsec, so most of the time you won't fit bomb launchers. For the few times we are heading into (npc) null from lowsec, leaving a bomb launcher close by (station, container on POS, etc) is good enough. In null I'd want to fit one by default, unless it's your intention to throw nothing but torpedoes at a structure.

With some luck, you can find well fitted ships on contract in null for a decent price. I've found that buying my ships in null is simply easier, costs less time, which to me is a more valuable commodity then raw ISK. Plus, by buying it in null you are supporting the people building them in the first place, your Alliance and Coalition mates, instead of some random Empire player.

yup, my sentiment too. just leave your toys in low/hi and get new stuff shipped in with your logistics arm from Jita.
Being part of the logistics arm of my alliance, I don't find it much of a hassle. a few cyno alts, a JF, and an hour or two
a week moving things.
While I do that, I can do other stuff too, like doing my PI, or doing my research/invention jobs and manufacturing jobs,
Checking out markets for some good deals to make a little money on the side with my trip.
( I've made hundreds of millions doing this )

The only decent ways to move things are carrier jumping or liquidating your stuff and buying new (which isn't really moving it). The only way I think it should be different is you should be able to carry fit/rigged ships in whatever ship can fit it without wrapping.
