Seems the Museum of Modern Arts "has acquired a selection of 14 video games for a new category of artworks in its extensive collection", among them such classics as Pacman, Tetris, Myst, and SimCity 2000.

And Eve Online.

Good choice if they can pull off a good tour that shows how the market works, some fleet fights, history of great thing that have happened and such.

Try to avoid zoomed out dots and so forth. Could be brilliant.

And I found out about the admissions to Moma's collection from his Tweet the other day before CCP even announced it.

IT was fine intil the trolls started showing up around page 3. It was one filthy mop after cleanup.

The game gets such an honor and still the usual trolls pretty much pwned it over there.

Idiots.

Then you should be thrilled to learn that era is over.

We are post-human now.

edit:

Besides, postmodern is an era, not an art movement.

Deconstructivism would be a 'postmodern movement".

Never heard of it.

Is it a great game or did it just 'look' great ?

As was pointed out by the OP and others, this subject is already under discussion. We also have a nice shiny new DevBlog about it which can be found here and a comments thread for that Blog which can be found here. Feel free to follow the discussion there Big smile

As for this thread I shall lock it for the reason mentioned below;

As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
