I just wrapped up he starting tutorials and am still deciding what I am looking to get into. In the mean time I was going to just run missions and continue to make some ISK and kill some time while I decide. The station I'm in now is the one with my tutorial agents and I am wondering where I can go from here for more agents. When using the agent finder I can see there are "storyline" and a bunch of other types (business for example).

When I start running these missions is there anything I need to look or be concerned about at as far as faction/standing goes?

For a more in-depth explanation, I suggest visiting the EVE-wiki page on missions .

A general overview, however, is this:

There are four types of agents: Distribution, Mining, Research, and Security.
- Distribution are "hauler" missions, hauling an item the agent gives you from one place to another. While theoretically the easiest to do - a few autopilot settings and your ship can fly itself - they pay poorly.
- Mining missions are self-explanatory: The agent requires you mine a type of ore, then give it to them. The ore may be a unique mission ore which cannot be mined in normal asteroid belts.
- Security missions are "combat" missions. These are generally thought to be the best-paying variety of missions.
- Research agents are... different. Check the EVE-wiki page for more info on those.

Storyline agents will contact you after roughly 15 missions of any type for a given faction; they offer missions that are often moderately more difficult for their mission level, but with correspondingly higher rewards (including standings for the faction they belong to). Missions may be any of the first 3 varieties above (Distribution, Mining, and Security). Turning down these missions will, conversely, result in a significant standings LOSS for the faction the agent represents.

You WILL lose standings for the factions you engage in Security missions. Most people only do Security missions where the NPCs you fight are "pirate faction" NPCs, avoiding engaging "Empire faction" (Amarr/Caldari/Gallente/Minmatar) NPCs to keep from loosing standings to those factions whenever possible.
