I picked up Portal 2 for $4.99, TW:Shogun2 with all the DLC for less than $12.49 and Dead Island for $6.79 during the Autumn Sale.

STEAM IS THE BEST EVAR.

P.S. I never thought I would like a game more than Portal...until I played Portal 2.

well yes, but....

steam is still evil. it assaults and rapes my wallet like nothing has ever done.

oh and Xmas sale is coming.


and it's free weekend on Endless Space.


and the SOTS II is getting a new DLC to commemorate the fact that it has achieved release-status. (yes the game now only crashes every 100th turn or thereabouts, and stuff actually works!)

omg. It drives me up a flippin wall when people talk about Steam destroying their wallet. Know how I solved that problem? I stopped spending so freaking much!

...I moved out and now I live on the street with my handy-dandy PC leaching open wifi signals and fighting other hobos for food. Guess what though? Now that I have no bills, guess who can splurge all on Steam games 24/7? Me. That's who!

Portal 1 core game was better, but Portal 2 workshop is best.

This is a good offer, but I already have every game I want from Steam, will just take up the hard drive. Steam may be "evil" but windows live is the four horsemen of the apocalypse. EA Origin is the Debil. Last time I launched Origin, took 3 hours to figure out their **** broken patch. Steam is just intrusive, ads whenever I close a game etc.

Autumn sale was good though, I picked up one deal. Best two games on Steam are portal/portal2 and Uplink. Oh, and maybe skyrim, but I wish it were like past ES games and not linked to Steam.

I paid $1 for 3 copies to get my wife and a buddy the games as well. I can't afford really anything right now. The idea is for the charity...I generally just donate to the Red Cross when I can anyway.
