Static Screen / PC Crash

Hi,

Ever since last night when downloading a game via GameFly, my client (and PC) seems to crash now and then. The sound goes fuzzy for a split second, then the screen changes to all these sort of static lines. I then have to turn the PC off and reboot, but it continues to happen. Have tried this out with a couple of games and the problem persists. Updated my graphics card driver too, but that didn't help. Also monitored the temperature during a demanding game (Skyrim) and the highest it got to was 72 degrees before crashing, which isn't particularly high.

Any ideas what this could be? Will put my settings below:

Is this a laptop or a desktop? This will help me determine if you're going to need a new video card or a new PC all together.

I experience something very similar, did you ever find the problem or a solution?

I've noticed that since I've had the sound turned off in Eve then I don't think I've noticed it crash. However I'd like to have the sound on.

Hi c0wgirl, I ended up having to replace my graphics card.
