Stuck in a 0.0 Station

Hello All;

Question here, I joined a 0.0 corp that fell apart and now I'm stuck in a station. No biggie, things happen in EvE.

My question is how do I get out? I've lost access to the Med Bay so I cannot move my clone. If I try to travel out I will get podded for sure (I am deep in Tribe Space) so I will get sent back to the same station I am stuck at. Repeat Ad nauseam until I am out of ISK and my clone becomes junk.

How can I get back to High Sec so that I can start over?

thanks!

PS: I should note that I am a miner and not really combat capable so fighting my way out isn't really an option

Before moving your medical clone to a player owned station you should have left a jump clone in high sec. Activate your jump clone, then you can easily relocate your medical clone using the medical services of an NPC owned station.

Eve is a harsh game and will not prevent you from destroying yourself. If you did not leave yourself an escape route, then you might not be able to escape.

If you are still unable to return to safety, you can try filling a petition requesting assistance. If you are truly stuck, then I expect a GM will help you out, but they will probably expect you to try to escape on your own first.

Hi there,

Yeah known problem when going off for a while in 0.0 ^^
If you don't have a cloaky I suggest you use the daily downtime (15min before / 15min after) to rush back to high sec.
Make sure you don't warp to gates directly but pump off planes. If you get anything whatsoever on scan -> DC.

You always could try to bribe your way through 0.0, but that would put your life intirely in the hands of the local folks.

Good luck m8 ;)

First, convo the locals, and ask for brief access to medical so you can reset your medclone to empire space. They may give it to you, either for free or for a price. Depends on who they are, but in-station you're untouchable and could mess with their market supply, so people tend to prefer you get out of there.

If that doesn't work, then locate the nearest NPC station with a med service, and make a run for it, but be smart about the run:

- go during off-peak time for whatever faction owns the space

- don't taunt in local or attract attention

- if you manage to get out of the system where you are docked, then you're just a red contact to be reported on the intel channels, and often the response fleet takes a while to assemble or gather interest in hunting you

- Figure out ahead of time where the chokepoints are, especially at the chokepoint access to empire space. These are likely camped 24/7. You do not want to warp gate-to-gate in these systems; you want to be coming towards the exit gate from the side / from an unexpected angle.

- Expect them to wait for you at the various chokepoints. For the gatecamp on the empire space chokepoint, you may want to have a friend distract them by jumping in with a juicy ship as a target just as you come out of warp in the bubble and gun for the gate.

- If you see the same group of people entering local after you do, they're hunting you. As long as you're not combat flagged, you may be able to make a safespot bookmark between two planets, warp to it, and try to log off in space; continue your trek another day.

In any case, your lack of options for getting back on your own will cost you some ISK trying to arrange safe passage, one way or the other.

This.

Petition will ONLY be awarded if you can proof you have been inactive for a longer period of time and thus didn't have a chance to move yourself out.

When they do that, they move you and the ship you are currently sitting in to nearest low-sec station. Keep in mind that any stuff you have left other then the ship you are sitting in will be left behind.

Also, next time ALWAYS keep options open (like said, a jump clone in highsec which can relocate med clones).

I agree with using the system downtime as a way to time a run for it. I have used it myself in hauling runs to some success.

Start the day off slow and taper off from there.

- Plan your run for non-peak hours.

- Use the in-game and dotlan maps to identify systems where there's a lot of PVP happening. You can also plan your route to the next station with cloning facilities to shorten your run by a few jumps.

- If you haven't already, build emergency safe-spots and gate tactical bookmarks. You can build an emergency gate tac by warping to the gate at 100 km, warping back to safe, and then warping to the new bookmark at 100 KM. If you do this right, you will have a bookmark 200 km away from the gate that allows you to see ships on the gate, but within warpable distance.

- Don't travel gate to gate. Avoid traveling celestial to gate. If you must bounce off planets, jump to moons and immediately bounce off to a different planet.

- Fly a cheap frigate and fit warp core stabilizers, MWD, and a cloak if you can fit and buy them. Your goal is to align and get out as quickly as possible.

- Watch local and spam d-scan.

Do not warp to random moons in 0.0. It's an extremely bad idea, unless you like being blown up by a POS.

Just get into a fast ship, log in right after the server started back up from downtime and run for 319 or any other NPC Delve system (should be the closest NPC space from Period Basis)

Indeed. Moons are just a very bad idea in null.

What I find odd is that someone in a corp that advertize themself as a PvP uni corp doesnt thought about the Moon = Hostile POS

Try to join the corp that owns the station you are stuck in.

FC, what do?

Go find a wormhole and start wormhole jumping. Yeah, you'll need to find a safe spot to probe. You'll eventually find a WH to highsec.

Having a cloak on your ship helps...having a covops ship helps immensely.

Or just stick a MWD and some stabs on a fast frigate and run for the border near downtime.

As has been noted, never warp gate-to-gate, bounce off planets/belts first (and set your default for 100 km out).

And never ever ever warp to moons, either in low or null, unless you are flying a covops and are cloaked........

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

My apologies. I'm still learning and thankfully lucky to survive by not repeating mistakes too often.

Getting into and out of hostile systems is tricky and occasionally difficult, but not impossible though.

For transport of your stuff out, you can look into nullsec transport services like Black Frog. It comes at a premium price, but you get to keep all your stuff. Before committing to that, though, check that the transport people are actually welcome in the station (not all 0.0 entities allow transport services in). Ed: As J'Poll pointed out, Black Frog is a bad example, since they do not provide services to player outposts.

For transport of yourself out, grab a frigate, set destination to Jita, and try to navigate out with the tips given by others here. If you die / get podded, you'll wake up all safe in hisec, so really the only point is to try to avoid the clone upgrade cost. If think the clone cost is not that much (if you're a newbie, it probablyu really isn't), you could just self-destruct your pod and be done with it.

Hey mate

Tribe dude here.
Convo me ingame as soon as you can and I'll see if I can set you up with some access to the med bay.
I send you a mail as well.

Actually can someone run a locator on him and see which station he is in?
I will just lower the medical facility standings requirement.

Black Frog won't work in this case.

Black only ships to NPC null-sec stations (cause of the mentioned docking restriction - standing issues).

I was pretty sure, that when you lose access to the med bay, your med clone is automatically moved to an NPC station with med services. You can look at your character sheet to confirm this. As such, if you get podded, you should NOT end up back in the Player owned outpost that is denying you med bay access.

I was sure they did hauling to some player-held space too, but you appear to be correct. My bad.

Just petition a GM. They are pretty good about moving ships and are somewhat lax on following the letter of law.

Or run for it.
