EU TZ not so much, we try and i think we are getting better. Give it another couple of months and i think the EU TZ will be allot tighter and more effective, we give and get fights all the time and fun is always had so thats what counts.

Endless vulnerable system farms swarming with gunless alts, with mass flips every two months .. ad nauseum. Fights remained as they were when I left, big and in the pipes with occasional hotdrops .. personally glad I got to sit that debacle out.

Fact is: Fights were better and less "must win at all costs" (ie. Fun) when there was nothing to be gained but the fight itself .. might have worked with incentives, but it was done poorly and against the advice of pretty everyone with half a brain and knowledge of the theatre.

Since minmatar had to start actually killing the rats instead of speed taking them, have they fully plexed and taken a single system?

Due to the longstanding imbalances in npcs amarr are used to having to kill all the rats. It seems playing by the same rules does not suit minmatar.

Can I just say that this thread is brilliant, reading about the history of Amarr/Minmatar FW is great.

Seems to me like the warzone has died down since the hotfix came into effect, and alot of people are plexing their arses off to hopefully gain the geographical and tactical advantage when the patch proper hits on Dec 4th.

I'm SURE after the patch things are going to get really interesting re: gudfights.

Amarr seems to be experiencing a little resurgence, in the EU TZ at least, with some newer corps getting more involved and running regular fleets... Props have to go to Titans of Steel, who have been running militia wide fleets almost daily for the last month or so.

Seriously. If you never go into combat with the wrong ship, start at the wrong range, or ever have the wrong ammo loaded, then smack talk as much as you want. I prefer at those times though to throw up a 'gf' in local and leave as quietly and quickly as possible.

I been doing FW for about 4 months after 6 + years in 0.0 and wish i had of come and joined earlier..Havent had this much fun in ages...I got to admit i do miss the TRIAD guys they dont come fight no more around kam :(

Now we have Annah and his crew and Bengal Bob smacking me in local :P

Amarr Militia is also entertaining..some corps think they are too elite to work with other corps and worried about spies and crap as if the were some serious 0.0 elite alliance

Difference between the minis and the amarr militias is a lot of the minis have been workng together for years and trust each other and work as 1 unit.... respect for that..they do what they do well... even though u guys boosting alts give me da ***** :)

Amarr is getting there and i do believe that all in good time the corps or most of the corps will gel and work together..if not oh well we will just keep doing what we are doing....Amarr u want systems..get off ur asses and plex its that simple,work towards a common goal..I read people complaining about how cheap it is for minis to cash in lp and get ships..stop being lazy u can make good isk through lp if u put the effort in.

And yes minis still love their sfi's and yes they easy to kill even with a couple frigs

Thats my 2 cents on the topic..


BTW some one enlighten me to who the old guard is..cause msg to them is if they still around maybe undocking and doing some thing would be cool..maybe even fun :)

Going back to the orginial topic here, from what I have seen with my few days down in amarr's area minmatar are not really putting up a fight, at least from what I have seen. It seems that they only form to save a system from being plexed to vul by the amarr, and they seem to only deplex when the amarr aren't active in the US TZ.
