Seriously man. Please stop, I don't care why you're doing it, but you're making yourself look more ridiculous than last week.

If you don't care, then please think of the non-EVE players that this tournament is supposed to attract, who I'm sure you're annoying and confusing if not alienating...

Edit: just stop making mistakes in general, don't be so nervous, take it easy.

The plural of Incursus, in the very least, is Incursi. It's clearly named after the Latin word for sprinting (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/incursus).
And if Kronos is named after the greek Titan then, yes, Kronoi would be the correct plural.
Celestis, on the other hand, should be Celestum (as far as I can remember).

HOWEVER... and this is the important part, this is all made up. Usually what works best in English for made up nouns is what sounds best; and for these, I think Dolan's doing a fine job. To my ear Kronos/Kroni, Incursus/Incursi and even Celestis/Celesti sound better than the default of "es" to the end (Kornoses? Incursuses? Celestises? pah!)

So you want to make it even more awkward and ridiculous?

The point is not whether it's "technically" correct, it doesn't really matter, it's about clarity to the audience and not being horrendously awkward and inconsistent.

If "two Kronoses" bother you, then why not just "two Kronos" or "two Celestis" as CCP Fozzie does.

The english language was lacking a lot of words and stole them from Latin and Greek, you should show some respect to those languages. When we in Italy say "bed and breakfast" we respect the original pronunciation, you should do the same with latin and greek words, or at least try it.


To be correct, Microsoft should not be pronounced /maikrosoft/ but /microsoft/ and you should stop saying /naik/ instead of /niké/ when you talk about shoes.

Latin words of the 2nd declination go with the -i desinence when taken as plural.
I didn't study Greek but Kronoi seems to be correct.
Celestis is an adjective of the 3rd declination, so the plural should be "Celestes".

I applaud him for using proper plurals whenever appropriate and would hereby like to encourage him to extend the usage of plurals to words like Vargi, Sleipni, Widi and Sabri.

Everyone can add an s/es to the ending of a ship name, not everyone can properly add an i to just about any ship name.
