Im doing a bit of station trading in good old Jita and I was wondering when i look at the price history graphs and tables are the figures universe, region or station specific?

Region, but for Forge Jita 4-4 will account for vast majority of the trades anyway.

For quick access to all regions, the site http://eve-central.com helps. The data is supplied via a passive program you can install, so it is not super-complete or super-up-to-date, but I've found it's complete enough for cross-region shenanigans.

Basically Jita = The Forge market.

True there will be some orders outside of Jita but for most modules 90+% is traded in Jita 4-4
It's also the easiest market to loose money while trading cause you are competing with loads of traders that are settled there + a shitload of trading bots.
