forum posting skills

pretty much skills you have to train ingame to be able to post a certain times per hour...

if you create a thread you get unlimited posts per hour for that thread... otherwise you have to train skills if you want to be a forum troll...


imo this would sure help reduce the amount of forum alts and force people to post with thier mains...Pirate

1. this belongs in features and ideas.
2. the two minute timer on the old forums was annoying enough.
3. CCP would never spend the man hours to make this possible. And it was impossible until very recently Roll.

And have a dislike button and if you get too many dislikes you lose a lvl of the forum posting skill.

The forums are not a game. You're confusing the game with the soapbox.
This is a place where anybody and everybody gets to air their views, without too many restrictions, anonymously or not.
Try and change that in any way and see the sh1tstorm that ensues.
I understand where you're coming from, but that's totally impractical on many different levels.
As Digital messiah stated - the 2 minute timer between posts on the old forum was irritating.

The beauty of normal forums - where basically anything goes - is that we get to milk the forum Trolls.

Personally speaking, I agree with Thorn Galen (well, apart from the troll-milking part) -- the forums are first and foremost a communications tool, not a game element.
