This worked for me, but that was a long time ago, and I think better fits are possible now.

Currently can't afford that ship my starting ship got blown up and I am not sure what I need to do, is their a place to get another ship, I did have a ship in my inv which is called a condor (I think thats what its called) but I can't fit 75 mm gat turrents on it

If you dock in a station that you have no other ships in, and your in a pod, you are given a new starter ship.

You can buy ships from the market. Also the condor is mainly a missile ship (2 missile hard points compared to 1 turret hardpoint) and the reason you can't fit the turrets may be because you haven't got the required skills to fit it / the ship has no more turret slots available/

a condor is perfect and will work fine. Try this fit out:

Power Diagnostic System I

EM Ward Amplifier I
Kinetic Deflection Amplifier I
Thermic Dissipation Amplifier I
Medium Shield Extender I

[Empty High slot]

This isn't optimised for anything., but will serve you well in level 1 missions til you can afford something different or replace your modules with more up to date and expensive ones.

This is also very cheap and low on skill requirements so should work fine. If not let me know and ill help out with that. You can use EFT (eve fitting tool) to fit ships offline without spending isk in eve.
