ECMgu makes sense because you HAVE to use the lows for tank, all your mids are jammers. OP's fit makes sense only if you simply cannot fly a Loki (or a Tengu, or a shield BS), which will give you about the same DPS, longer range, better tracking, longer range web, better tank, smaller sig, I mean it literally does EVERYTHING better than the Legion fit in the OP.

The OP's Legion will work... but why would you bother?

loki and tengu absolutely suck for incursion, shield or armor. the only purpose they serve is webbing . I wouldnt even use a tengu for incursion simply because it is a missile boat and I would rather have instant dps put out. nco is very close range so scorch and conflag along with the webbing takes care of any issues within the nco. this legion is an alternative for those who want to bring back the legion fleets , not a substitute for for ships that you cant fly. if you can fly nightmare, or any of the other ships you listed then fly by all means.

You do realize that again, this is for incursions right? As in for vanguard fleets you don't need points or a prop mod so four mid slots is all you need for tank and Ewar.With these t2 rigs , you're getting the basic ehp of a of a pirate faction battleship. This legion is getting the same a my nightmare that I fit with no lse and only one pith c type invul. It's of course getting less dps ,but better tracking and an advantage over bs fleets for NCOs that have to rely on drones to do most of the killing. This legion is only designed for nco as the armor legion once was, I.e close range with webs from the legion and maybe 1-3 logi. Yes Loki sucks for incursion as I said same thing with tengu, they were only let in fleets due to webbing capability. Pre patch, legions only relied on other legions for webbing with a skirmish bonus and one or two guardians. My doting and informations is based on facts and experience as a ex legion incursion runner

well son a little back drop about me im in HS now yea but previously lived in WH and LS openmindedness is not the issue its jsut that literally as stated the loki does what your trying............... just better

This legion isnt designed to be special, it's designed to do the same thing the armor legions once did, minimum tank fitted, maximum dpa output for quick vanguard sites just shield fitted. If you want, I can form a shield legion set you form your Loki fleet and we can battle it out for vanguard sites. Otherwise if you have nothing positive to say, nothing constructive, no evidence it experience to back up what you say keep quiet or keep talking doesn't really matter to me.

My goal isn't to start a flame war or start an argument, if you're going to oppose my doctrine: simple, provide your own proof and evidence that something like a proteus, Loki, tengu fleet can outdo a legion fleet shield or armor.

Your idea is cool if you desperately want to fly a Legion, but if you want to be effective, use a Loki.

i was curious and did some plotting. apparently, the legion does have the upper hand on damage. between navy multifrequency and scorch, the dps are there up to 50k or so. what the loki has though:
- set of drones
- afterburner
- much smaller sig
- web range bonus

I should buy an Ishtar.

Personally I wouldn't fork out 900mil for this, if skillpoints are an issue and you can't fly a loki, tengu, rokh, faction BS. THEN this fit becomes somewhat viable.

Armour legion is better because it wont die instantly and has longer range. Plus a Loki is REALLY useful because of its long ranged webs.
