CCP facing reality, can we also agree EVE is not a fashion simulator.

I don't think it was ever trying to be a fashion simulator. Just like it's not a planet, production simulator. o.O

To someone who cannot understand the underlying premise of what I said I suppose so. My concern is at this time of change and admonitions of mistakes can we agree that hiring an actual fashion design house to produce nex items was a mistake.

The items are underwhelming at best and I would like to know if it is a sound investment, I want to know if it saves time or effort for the art team that I feel might have a better grasp on the particulars of this universe.

If you have seen videos of hilmar talking about the whole incarna concept and had a chance to see how Zinfandel and company were trying to sell the new character creator and NEX during at8 being it's own fashion house it might raise some questions.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

Ultimately it will be good for EVE, once multi-player areas are opened up where avatars can interact with each other.

(There's a good size market out there who love the idea of EVE, including the PvP, but feel too disconnected from their character because the only interaction with other players is over a text chat in the cold darkness of space.)

I took the liberty of adding your name to the list of players who will NEVER, ever, EVER venture into WiS....

And just in case you do I also took the liberty of adding your name to the list of players who will NEVER, ever, EVER wear NeX in WiS either...

To be honest, I would have bought some stuff from the Nex Store if there were actually Establishments and places to hang out and meet other players "in the flesh." But since we just have ourselves in a single room, there is little point buying anything worth showing off.

I would like Establishments to eventually get finished ... but not at the expense of FiS. I look forward to WiS getting finished, slowly and properly.

I love the space game and want it to grow more than anything.

I also have kept Incarna running and used it from day 1 and I think it is kinda cool. It has never overheated my comp but I have to admit the day it was released it pinned my cpu to 100% and then settled down to running at about 85% when not moving, but over time it has improved. Now there is little difference between the CPU from the times I am in space to when I am walking around the CQ. The only difference on my computer is the graphics card fan kicks in. But it does with every avatar game I play.

The big selling point for me was the day I found this video.

I thought to myself Oh **** what have CCP done, I didnt like it one bit. But right at that moment my wife walked by my computer and for the first time in my Eve carreer, she seen me play Eve for years now, stopped and said "hey whats that, that looks cool, is that a game?" I crapped myself. CCP is on to something and I would like to see it complete. I prey it drags my wife in game because all my preaching, screenshots, videos and stories all have failed.

I am getting this right that people are ripping on the clothing because it fits into the Eve style of art work? Seriously I must be wrong so someone punch me! Pirate
