Highsec aggression has been nerfed so many times that they want to nerf the things that have already been nerfed. What?

I have warm and fuzzy memories of comitting "insurance fraud" during the tutorial missions that required me to lose my ship. Good times.

You already don't get insurance if you are killed by Concord...
Unless you are talking about just any conflict in highsec. Then that's as stupid as the whole idea of insuring a warship with big guns in the first place anywhere.

If the bird in hand, was previously under your foot, you should probably throw it away.

Since insurance can't be nerfed for gankers any further, the next logical step is to obviously take out the loss value from the gankers' wallets and give that money to their victims.

Coming 2013 to an MMO near you.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

It's funny, because we both know that's exactly what will happen.

Insurance is similar to high skill point clone prices - they are both solutions looking for problems. Best to simply do away with both.

If anyone attacks you in highsec or 'suicide ganks' you, then they will not get an insurance payout as they have committed an act of piracy. Only legitimate means of combat in highsec (such as a wardec) will permit you to get an insurance payout should you lose a ship.

For more information on this you can refer to: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Insurance

Please also ensure your posts are as clear as possible, I was having a hard time following what you were trying to say!

Hope this helps.

While we're on the subject of nerfing things, I think it's awfully broken that titans can do AOE damage with doomsdays through a cyno.

Nerf doomsdays.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Bravo good sir, neither have I, and I still have no reason why people insist this game can't be played with a joystick, I do it on a daily basis..cuz it feels so right.
