It looks sweet and all, but wouldn't it be cooler if...

the cyno was colored based on what fuel (i.e. what race) the ship used?

Gallente green, Minmatar red, Amarr yellow, Caldari blue, you get the idea.

That's... actually a fantastic idea, even though I don't think the current cyno version on Sisi is good enough (it can and should be better, more dramatic) the reasoning is solid.

We already have a red one for the Minmatar, so clearly it's not impossible to do.

I think it would look nice as well as enabling people to more easily tell what kind of ship just jumped in.

Ummmm.. all cynosural fields use Liquid Ozone. There is no racial cyno fuel.

Are you thinking of changing the color based on what ship is using the cyno beacon as a jump destination? What if it's a beacon for a whole fleet of mixed race ships?

Cynosural Field Generators don't use racial isotopes. They use Liquid Ozone.

Isotopes are what fuels the jump ships coming in, Liquid Ozone is what fuels the Cyno....so Guillame's question is a reasonable one, how would you color the cyno for multiple incoming ships?

I'd be ok with rainbow cyno effect tbh.

I think he's talking less about the CYNO and more about the jump effect that each incoming ship gives off.

How about making the cyno pulse the colour of the ship that just jumped through it, maybe a more intense flash for supers.

yes, because its not abd enough the goons can throw 5-trillion supers into a fight, now they can do so while screaming FABULOUS at the top of their lungs in their best Ace Ventura impression as they enter battle.

This idea was posted in test server feedback a few weeks ago, and I said I liked it there, but will say so here again.
