Money or get bumped... New high sec harrasment

The question is easy. It is legal to ask for money or get bumped? Because in Abudban there is a "new order" in the ice field that is starting to harras people with this.

I think that this sould be punished. But thats my opinion.

Welcome to the forums...

But you happen to be out of luck since they are not breaking any rules.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Forum search for "New Order" before creating another thread about the New Order.

Did you think maybe other miners might have experienced this, too? For example, were there other miners in Abudban with you?

If they are bothering you, relocate to another ice belt. There are ample belts in hi sec.

As for the legality, asking for isk is not illegal at all. It's just another protection racket.

Asking for out of game money (which I doubt they do) would be illegal.

Again, your best course of action is to find a new place to mine. Or, higher mercs to kill them.

i think bumping should give an aggression timer.

CCP would have come up with a formula to determine if it was an accident or intentional. Likely dependent upon the distance the victim was thrown.

Now with 100% less Troll.

I'm sure some game will let you do that in 2 or 3 years, and will let you pointlessly grind credits for no reason or purpose.

I think you posting on the forums should give an aggression timer, but hey, that's just me.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

"Legal" would mean this would be an infringement to some law but there isn't. However it's in the gaming rules an stated earlier by some dev this game mechanic is intended.

The real question is does it have any sense?
As long as it's situational this should be considered "normal" but as per usual some players only play games to hack, harass, destroy and be jackasses with other players.
It's a normal behaviour in a game like Eve not really demanding your to be "reasonable", "intelligent", "skilled" or educated, every thing you need to play Eve is understand the rules and circumvent them to ruin some one else fun of gaming and CCP encourages this behaviour.

Actions you can take: gank them but you'll have little to no consequence on those actions, most are just scarecrows following the move because they have the feeling someone talks about them therefore are important. Others are just alts of known forum trolls and some maybe, just RMT/BOT pawns making clean place for their own profit.

Anything of this really matters. Move along do something else or just change for another system.
