Changes are Needed

Im am here to moan and ask for urgent changes to drone interfaceEvil
I had 3 types of drones ECM,HG2,and LOGI all in there own groups
Well heres what happened I just lost my battleship. I wanted to launch my the logi drones I open the launch window click on logi and hit launch target my Logi alt and get the pop up warning which i get every time as I am at war and the alt is not. I click ok and boom I am Concorded instead of launching the Logi drones it launched the HG2 because the logi drones had not been unpacked and clicking on the group window does not launch them but another group what a bad design.

The drone interface is so rubbish please fix it and save me from buy new battleships or a new game.Evil

Ive had issues with unpacked drones being launched, as in, i have to find the launch drones option in a bigger list than unpackaged drones...

Sounds like you might've just misclicked. Or misplaced which drones went into which group.

Maybe you should not use "out of corp alts" to help you win battles against war targets.

Perhaps CONCORD should come ANYTIME you repair someone that is in a war to stop this shenanigans with out of corp repair alts.

So you didn't read about crimewatch changes since creating a thread about changes for Retribution?

Getting the "pvp" flag of the person you are repping is not the same as getting CONCORDed for interfering in a war in which you are not a legal participant. You should get criminal flagged for interfering in war, not just get the weapons/pvp flag of the toon you are repping.

I too want the game changed when i misclick something, or don't take the time to set up my ship before getting into battle.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

They are taking part in hostilities and have not paid to be part of that War.

Sooner see them get CONCORDED or at least given a pop up:

Would you like to join this war? Yes/No

If you select Yes, you will remain in this war until it ends.

There, now everyone knows what your part is in the war (you can't be neutral).

Not being able to shoot them is not the problem... since you can.


The problem is that you can't properly plan for, and prepare for a fight, since there is no way to know how many neutrals in system are actually logi alts that will un-dock and start repping the WT as soon as you commit to a fight.

Login is another issue.... commit to a fight, and suddenly 20 more WT's login and warp into the fight.



In addition to getting CONCORDed when you rep someone that is in a war, you should not be able to shoot legal targets for 5 minutes after logging in, unless they shoot at you first.

BE in corp, and BE logged in before the fight starts, IF you want to participate in the fight.


I know there were several times that we would have been willing to fight the WTs, except we wouldn't, because we suspected several of the neuts in station were logi alts, or because we knew that several WTs has logged out just outside of the station. If you want more fights, then you need to limit these kinds of shenanigans. The ability to use these Shenanigans to win a fight just means there are a lot less fights. (Just like there are a lot of fights that don't happen for fear that target is actually bait with a cyno that is there it initiate a hot drop).

Again... "It makes it easier for me to kill if...." just means "There will be less people participating if..."


If you want more fights, then you have to create circumstances where people feel they can get a "fair" fight. Otherwise, they won't fight.

Firstly, OP should have paid more attention to what he was doing. If he grouped his drones properly, he would not have had any issue. If he had read the concord warning instead of ignoring it, he wouldn't have had an issue. If he hadn't been a pussy and used his neutral repping alt, he wouldn't have had an issue.

As for the rest of the posters whining about neutral reps and logging in or out... GROW A PAIR!

My PvP alt spent 4 months in a small PvP corp that had a total member count of 6 pilots and took on 200 man alliances head on and came out on top. No repping alts, no whining. Ok, we used scouting and scanning alts but that's it. I went up against people using falcon alts, repping alts, neuting alts, all sorts of alts. I either blew them up too or died trying. Why? Because that's what happens in high sec wars. If you don't like it, then get out of high sec and try low or null. These issues just don't happen there.
