Tool for checking skills for Fits/Doctrine?

Hey ho everyone,

I am looking for a tool that can be used to compose ships and fits, and if our members provide their API, they can see (and more importantly, the FCs can see) if they can use it or not, maybe what skills are missing.

Any tips, ideas?

A tool that allows members to check whether they have the minimum skills to fit something or a tool that allows members to check whether they meet a specific set of skill requirements?

The second..

Let me elaborate the process than:

  1. I import the fits from EFT (or manually compose it):
  2. It checks the required skills to fly the ship
  3. I can manually edit then what skill level I want the pilots to fly the ship with (frig 1 does not help much - set it to 5)
  4. Pilot provides API
  5. System shows what ships he can fly and what skills he misses for fit

Basically that would be the goal, anything coming close would be nice

eve corp management supports this. but it can be a pain to collect everyones api's.

except for the last part. might add that to the future feature list.

Thank you folks for the input!

Fleetup does not support at this moment skill checking for the fit, otherwise it would be pretty usable. Did not get into eve corp management yet, I'll see what's up with that.

You might want to check out my API checker.
In its current beta version it supports checking fittings against a user's skillset, and the next beta will include skillplans as well.

I have not finalized the way I want skillplans to be imported/made yet, so now's your chance to influence that decision. P

Edit!
Here is a screenshot of how it currently looks.

Fleet-Up highlights your fittings in green / orange / red depending on whether you can fly the ship or just the hull or not at all.

When viewing a fitting for a character the modules are also highlighted in green / red. An additional tab is being added that shows which skills need to be trained.

In terms of being able to report on how many/which of your members can fly a particular ship, create a Doctrine and switch to the "Pilot Report" tab. Fleet-Up will show you how many of your members can fly each fitting.

Please drop me an email detailing your requirements. Most of Fleet-Up's features are user-requested. So, if you would like some additional functionality or a new feature please get in touch.
