So if I started 1000 runs of some T1 cruiser ten minutes before the expansion downtime, would they all build at the new cost or the old cost?

Cost is determined when you put the job in.

I like the new changes, although, significantly increasing the price of ships in one swoop isnt the way to go.

Increasing the cost little by little over time perhaps 12 months, would yield a better experience for more players.

Regardless, its nice to see ships are actually worth something, particularly in usefulness.

Some cruiser are going to increase in price no doubt because of the up coming buffs. This is already something that is happening if you are paying attention. My ? about this is take for instance carcal it will be getting more low slots. So will cost in minerals increase to produce these ships go up due to increase of ship slots?

I have heard rumors increase of minerals need to produce them will go up but nothing official that I have seen.

Probably similar to the mining barges.
The "new" cruisers will require more minerals to build.
But, they will reprocessed to the old mineral amount.
I have noticed a large increase in demand for some ships in my region.
Perhaps some people are hoarding them in anticipation of their value increasing.
