Quick question on the addition of race specific destroyer and battlecruiser skills...

If I currently have level 5 destroyer and say level 4 caldari frigate, will I be getting level 5 caldari destroyer when the changes come?

simplified explanation; if you can fly that races destroyer or battlecruiser, you will get that races destroyer and battlecruiser skills at the same level as your destroyer and battlecruiser skill when the changes come in to effect (which is not dec 4th)

to get all racial destroyers and battlecruisers at V, train both destroyers and battle cruisers to V, then train all racial frigates to IV (III is only needed for destroyers, but IV is needed to train regular cruisers) then train each races cruisers to III. et voila, when the changes happen you get destroyers and battlecruisers at V for each race.

If you have a frigate 3 for a race you'll get race destroyer x (where x is your current destroyer skill). If you have cruiser 3 for a race you'll get race battlecruiser x(x is battlecruiser skill).

Simple.
