I want to modify a buy order remotely, what skill do I need? is it possible?

You want to look at the skill Daytrading.

Skill Description wrote:

Allows for remote modification of buy and sell orders. Each level of skill increases the range at which orders may be modified. Level 1 allows for modification of orders within the same solar system, Level 2 extends that range to systems within 5 jumps, and each subsequent level then doubles it. Level 5 allows for market order modification anywhere within current region.

How hard is it to right click and select show info.

Its not that there are 100 different trade skills to check.

I don't mind helping new players, but some questions are just a sign of being lazy and want everything handed to you on a silver platter.

I'm with J'Poll here, a 2 second search before asking a question not only gets you an answer faster, but it saves cluttering up the forum with threads like this. It's not being rude, it's just using a little common sense before posting.

the trade skills arent viciously clear and now I have my answer and perhaps this thread will help others, it also being in the correct place for questions.

How come that the same description posted on here is the exact same description of the show info in game is more clear....

Also, with a bit of common sense, there are only 11 skills you have to check as Contracting and Corporation contracting is already ruled out.

It's just obviously clear about the type of player over the difficulty of looking something up in here.

Me too. Clicking "show info" on each of the trade skills would provide the answer in seconds.

This thread actually helped me. For years I've played just fine with the ability to modify Buy Orders out to a range of 10 jumps, and haven't needed to train any Trade skillz, except to take Margin Trading from 4 to 5 and to train to become able to create more Orders, but a few days ago I decided I wanted to train to extend my modify range to 20 jumps. Unfortunately, I didn't pay proper attention to the skill descriptions, so by mistake I set the wrong skill to train, and only found out about 6-8 hours later, when I read this thread.
