Admit it, no matter who you are, or where your from, it's always fun to show off and make yourself look cooler. So how about it, emblems for ships, stripes, and everything inbetween? Now, I understand we can't exactly have Valve's humor in this game, so nothing too crazy, but just some cool little thing to say, hey look what I have! You know, before you get bubbled, and podded.

Well, one of our suicide gankers got a pair of boots dropped from a shuttle once. It's just amazing to be able to say:

Exactly, something nice to say, look, I have this now, or hey look at me, I have this thing on my ship. Little visual things that add a sense of ownership and customization.

Pretty sure killboards have this function, if not, there plenty of monocles and funny eyeballs around to let you show who you really are.

Could we loot corpses and remove said monocle, with a blunt rusty spoon.

Would also be nice to customize your own ship colours. I know adding textures to your ship would add to the lag so it would probably have to be for your eyes only, others would still see the normal textures.
