CCP - Modules Not Activating - Overload Stuck. Come on...

Frustrating...

I would kindly ask that CCP please fix modules from being stuck from either overload, or just plain not turning on.
When these events occur, and someone files a petition even with video evidence documenting a bug, and the petition gets denied, it makes the victim not want to subscribe.

Here is my brief illustration.

ive had that bug too.... you need to manually clear your eve cache files

Close eve and eve launcher

browse to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_progra~2_ccp_eve_tranquility\cache

delete everything in there

then restart eve and log in

This seems threadworthy.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

This is not a bug, it's a feature. CCp wants to imitate the unreliability of modern electronics.....Shocked

Bug reports and petitions are two separate things. GMs can't fix bugs, they aren't programmers. But if it's a situation that GMs can fix THEN you file a petition. So it's pretty easy to guess the OP's petition was turned away for being filed wrongly.

The other reason it could have been pushed off is "We are aware of the issue *close*" In which case it would be likely be included as part of Retribution.

Usually Able To clear this bug by moving modules about

Clearing cache is best fix

I managed to be desynced on the taisy gate the other day

GG bubbles lol

Thought Desync was fixed a while back

Game is so smooth these days. Hope return of Desync is just a hiccup

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Just wondering, just how quick is the server to realize there is a time delay of incoming packets from the client side before it kills the connect and closes the port to the client?

'Can not reproduce' This is what I usually get told when I file a bug report including one about this very topic.

Could try the lock module option this might help, it has for me so far although still testing this theory out.

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.

If you have issues like this, ASK other people in local if they have issues too !

If and *only* *if* others experience issues within the system too,
file a petition in "stuck" and tell the GM about it,
including quotes from other people telling you about their problems.

Thanks for the tip, but I confirmed that my modules were locked after reading your suggestion. So I don't think this is a contributing factor.

I believe it is a dysnc like others are suggesting. Still frustrating though. It would be great to hear a response from a dev considering everyone in my corp has at least one point in time experienced a stuck overload, or module not working.

I also would like to know why there is so much resistance in reinbursement when these things happen in pvp and you have evidence of it occuring.
