[LiveStream][Special Buckingham Event] Devs vs Players Cruiser Showdown November 15th

Hi everyone. After our very successful Devs vs Players frigate battle on Duality earlier this release we have decided to run another similar event focused on Cruisers.

I'm going to live stream the event on the CCP Own3d.tv channel for your viewing pleasure!

A number of Devs including myself will be playing on Buckingham this Thursday the 15th of November starting at 16:00 Eve time. We'll start off the event with some organized fleets against whatever you can throw at us, then afterwords it should be pretty easy for all of you to find devs for casual 1v1s or skirmishes.

For the first part of the event the plan is to spawn a medium FW complex in 6-C that will just allow T1 and T2 cruisers, destroyers and frigates inside.

Last time the Devs were the undisputed champions so I think the players need to bring their A game this week to regain some pride.

It was a ton of fun last time so I hope you'll all come back this Thursday and take us on!

I look forward to this.

If anything, could you please try Omens and Mallers ? I think that they're not really performing as they should be.

But maybe that's just me.

With a fully seeded server how will you inforce the cruiser rule? I see dev titans DD gate crashersTwisted.

Dev Hax?

If they state that they want to test cruisers by fire (and the wrath of their subscribers).

I can see them taking out some quite drastic measures against people who try to intervene ...

So survive the first wave (with enough cruisers stashed).

And then decide which dev you want to kill the most.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I demand a scoreboard to be setup so we can see who's the best Dev Killer Twisted


Edit: Before someone else asks - Is there going to be any "rewards" (Free spz) for taking part? - Might be worth putting the answer in the OP

Only kids bother with scoreboards.

Decide which dev you want you kill, and do it ;)

There won't be free SP for taking part in the Thursday event, however the mass test later today does give free SP.

i live in est timezone so hopefully this goes well you guys decide to get drunk after work then take a round 2 against NA players....
At the end of the game both the pawn and the Queen go in the same box.

Do we know what system this will be held in?

Due to work schedules etc I want to attend but will probably only be able to login 5 mins before the start So i'd like to be able to setup my stuff tonight and move it to where its required before we start
