i've been several years in militia and i have never been problems with my security status, it has never been below 0.0.

Civilians are not a problem in FW, you can avoid them if you want. Personally i use some bait alts to make them take global flag and then i kill them.

Smart players always come up with workarounds, when a game mechanic does work against them. Actually those workarounds are the best proofs for that mechanic should require an improvement or a revision.

In Eve Online, Factional Warfare is the tool for relatively new players to PvP participate in it, without facing heavy consequences of other PvP options (like piracy or null-sec). I believe if we Google it out, we'll find several occasions for developers or designers to claim the same. Security Status loss is one of those heavy consequences. From my perspective, giving combat initiation dis-advantage to a FW pilot who doesn't want to loose his security status, is working against that claim.

What new FW pilots can/should do is avoid such combat within plexes by warping away immediately. And unfortunately it's working against FW.

Sweet and simple. Militia's are unaffected (provided CCP can sort the ally militia thing!) as we are already at war, pirates are unaffected as they already have their trenchcoats wide open .. so all live-ins are unaffected. Sweet and Simple indeed.

As already said, we FW monkeys are lowsec only (few high+low and even fewer null+low) while the people that are the topic of this thread primarily hail from null and have high-sec sec status from all the carebearing in NAP land .. not only that but they can reclaim any lost sec in a heartbeat whereas FW folk do not have that option .. why should people living in a given space be forced to take the sec hit or major tactical disadvantage (firing only when fired upon) to get rid of joy riders who'll be back, doing Goddess knows what null sheep do, 'home' a few hours later?

Make everyone suspect. It is already the way they are regarded so make it official!

If that is the way you feel about it, then what do you think of making it so that neutrals have to use probes to scan down a FW plex. Just like they have to do with "any other mission/plex".

I feel that if you are a neutral or an enemy to the faction that owns the plex, then you should be legally allowed to get shot at. Army posts don't just let anyone and everyone onto their posts to wander around. Why should neutral pilots be allowed into the plex with no repercussions?

A suspect flag does seem warranted with expansion instead of aggression flag in my opinion. Aggression flag the way I have read it is only good vs logoffskis.

While i agree it can be a pain in the ass (i'm on a straight road to -10 because of neutrals in belts and plexes and i don't even shoot first that often), it's lowsec. Deal with it.

It would be nice - But doesn't make too much of a difference to me. I will just kill a rat later in system if I have to. Either pre-emptily engage and take a hit, leave or wait until they are ontop of you in optimal. But I would not complain if the moment I'm in plex a neutral could engage me without losing Sec status and I could do the same. -Shrug-

yes, make alt instead of bringing main. makes sense since most likely 300 people in your alliance aren't on when i'm on. so i agree with route of bringing your alt.

I can go with the probe requirement. But not for just "nuetrals" - but everyone.

Memories are short, eh? We did the whole probe for plexes thing and it resulted in most ships being partially PvE fit .. a tendency that will be magnified by attackers not being able to refit in system due to dock-blocking.

Also, CCP have shown interest in the idea of having some sort of announcement system for when plexes are being captured, so not only will they be overview the second warp is engaged but chances are people elsewhere in WZ will soon know where you are.

Besides, we want the neutrals to come in and die in a fire. Only hurdle is really that they get a huge leg up since many FW monkeys don't have logistics alts so can't afford tanking sec too much making shopping a nuisance.

ok, just to throw this out there. In addition to the fact that this change is unnecessary (it is and you are just being a baby if you cant deal with it) it would personally **** me off (i know you care xD).

I rolled caldari and amarr militia for something like a year after moving out of wormhole space. Occasional mission running and plexing (before it was cool) got my faction standing up mighty high with both factions. More important was the availability of fw agents for locating.

Ever since dropping fw and going full pirate my faction standings have stayed in place but my corp standings are now all -10 simply because i shoot fw members. I will never be able to re-enter fw on this character because of it. The only thing i have earned for being decorated with the top rank in each militia is the ability to move freely in amarrian and caldari plexes without rat aggro. And seriously, its not like we need any more things working against us. Pirates are the most disenfranchised group in eve, despite the popularity of the title.
