hey guys....

i know this might seem strange, but i've looked on the eve-o forums and can't find the answer, i've googled it, still can't find the answer...

anyway... i've been noticing that if you drop a POS for moon mining on a moon with multiple's of the same material you can only mine 1 of them. back in 08/09 when i was working with another corps moon goo team we used moons with multiples of the same goo all the time, 1 tower, 2 miners, 2 silos and it would extract into both.

is this bugged out for me? or was it changed... i went away from eve for over 12 months, and have only just recently started redeploying towers for corp isk.

heres a screen shot from a tower that i had but removed as it wasn't worth mining the second item.

There was talk a while back about a T2 moon harvester that could do 2 cycles/hr, but it's never been released. I don't think they've ever changed the moon's.

If you were able to mine an abundance 2 moon mineral back in 08/09 it was a bug and was not intended (i think you just are mistaken). There is no way to mine an abundance 2 moon mat for more then 100 units per hour. CCP had intended to add a T2 moon miner to mine them but the mod was never added so it currently can't be done.

It was never possible to mine the same mineral with more than one harvester at the same time. Even in your picture, only one of the miners is actually running.

You can mine 2 or even 3 different moon goo's at the same time, from the same moon, if they are available. You can not however have 2 moon harvesters mining the same mineral no matter what the abundance is.

Isn't he talking about a moon with twice the same type of moon mineral? Example Akora X-1 ( http://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/Akora/moons )
