The "Everybody else is doing it so why don't I" collateralized loan thread

You give me sufficient collateral (generally in a location that is either Jita-contiguous highsec or another location that I feel comfortable accepting it in), I give you ~90% of that collateral's worth as a loan. Rates as follows:

1 week - 1.5%
2 week - 3%
3 week - 4.5%
4 week - 6%

etc.

I dont' work off months, and if you need to extend a loan you need to let me know before your stuff gets blapped to the market (generally will happen ASAP after you're late).

EDIT: 100m - 1b for now.

The only TEST members someone outside the HBC should ever do business with are diplomats that use one of the characters listed in the alliance description.

The idea that after joining TEST you can just roll into MD, advertise your little rental scam and in the same breath ask for the community's trust & business is imo ludicrous. As someone who has been around for a few years you should know better than that.

Not very much. Personally I wouldn't touch this with a stick. Not to mention that your rates are rather steep.

I too wish to buy lots of stuff at 10-15% discount. Sell it to me instead. I mean, give it to me as collateral instead.

It's so adorable that, when I wasn't in TEST, people did this through me and loved me for it. I spend a little time off the forums, join TEST, and suddenly I'm clearly an evil scammer.

I'm not doing a rental scam; I've always been honest in my dealings with this forum and have no intention of changing that. I do find it absolutely adorable that you mention in basically the same breath that I've been around a few years - if you're familiar with me, you should KNOW that I've always been honest and truthful. If I were going to scam, the first thing I'd have done is quit paying the ~15b in debt I currently hold on this forum, and yet I faithfully pay my interest every month.

Learn to look beyond an alliance tag.

This should be ran as a pawn shop.

Pay out just above buy orders on items you think are worth it.

Give a set amount of days to retrieve your goods at a set rate.

Say 30 days 8% or you become owner of the goods.

You'll have to play the markets a bit and take on some risk.

The idea is that you want to incentivize using this as a loan service - you'd want to pay out slightly BELOW buy orders, not above.

As a self described marketeer with an established history, you should have been keenly aware of what your current choice of association would do to your reputation or lack thereof. So don't pitch a fit because you threw your lot in with TEST. Suck it up like a man.

As someone who had previously seen Goon investments do well in this subforum, I rather thought that people here were intelligent enough to look past a corp/alliance ticker.
