I absolutely positively recommend that any capable pilot do his or her best to make it to one of these. They are so much fun and really bring people together. People have new friends when they head home again and many find new corps and alliances to roam with :).

I have a good feeling about this one and hope it goes as well as I think it will. Then maybe it will become an annual thing for all the players living on the other side of the planet ;) !

My dream is to have these multi-day events (mini fanfests) taking place all over the globe so players can find one close wherever they live.

Big thank you to CCP Guard for organising login screen promo, and everything else he is doing to help make this a great event.

Did a site visit to the venue today..things are coming together nicely... and know lots of Aussie EVE gamers getting very excited about this AUTZ event!

We would love for you to join us too ...it is going to be a blast :)

It's great to see something like this happen & the discounts you've managed to secure attendees is quite significant & impressive. If I wasn't so busy already that weekend I would've loved to have attended. Good luck with the whole thing.

Had a great reception function last night with over 130 Aussie EVE gamer assembled from around Australia with more due to turn up today.

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou from the token NZ presence and thanks to RD and the team for all the hard work that had obviously gone into this and making such a great weekend away. Will definitely be trying to come back for the next one. Just waiting in airport to fly back to NZ now - it may take my liver some time to recover but at least I wasn't as bad as some Shocked

Thanks, and yes, I definitely should have mentioned we had someone from NZ.

Thanks for making the effort to come across from NZ, and glad you had fun.

I have yet to hear any major complains (or any complaints for that matter), so I guess we did OK. :)

A big thank-you to CCP Fozzie, CCP Dolan, and CCP Navigator for staying up late on a Friday night in Iceland for an hour long video call to a bunch of Aussie EVE gamers... we really appreciated the time you gave us.

Also thanks to CCP Guard for your support.

Fantastic event. Outstanding value for money. The bar was only metres away. Great group of people. I would do it again next weekend. Thank you RD and Hamber.

Just completed the 10 hour drive back home after the event (+1 day for sight seeing with my long suffering eve-widow).

I had a great time. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was (I thought it would be good... but not THAT good).

If it were to be organised again for next year, I would be coming along to that one too, (might even be tempted to present "Life as an industrialist" and see who can stay awake Blink).

The fact that the room swelled with the number of people attending really showed the AU (and NZ) TZ players are hungry for more.

One experience that made me smile was going to the bar to order yet another beer and hearing terms like "DPS" being bandied about casually... Usually when I talk eve I have to tone it down due to the non-believers in the room. For almost 2 days I could indulge without restraint.

What a great time,

Had a great time. Keen for it again next year. Got a few corp mates that wish they went so I'm sure numbers next year will be even higher.
