The new dev blog states that they will be tweaking/changing battlecruiser/battleship hull mineral requirments. Anyone have more indepth information on this and is it going to be anything significant?

You mean the stuff in the expansion which isn't this one upcoming, but the next one? Any in depth knowledge would mean CCP is giving info to players, and they're not likely to come to the forums and tell you that. If i had to guess though, there will be significant changes in the hulls that have significant changes.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Yes.

But I'm not telling.

Yes.

They're going to drop the mineral requirements, to screw with anyone who tries stockpling ships before release. Blink

Basically whoever hoards the most mid-tier T1 ships wins EVE as of that expansion.

What would be hilarious is if they trolled us all by putting increased min reqs on the test server but then actually lowering them for the release.

That would be sweet. It would look good on the traders that have put so much effort into manipulating the markets. Some mining ships are still not profitable to build as the per update stock piles have still not run dry.

Not to mention battleship hulls would get cheaper, Hulls getting cheaper is always a good thing.

They should increase the amout of mega/zyd/nox on the large ships, and reduce trit, pyer and mex.
That should make them more producable in null and WH...

Oh well, more "mineral changes"... remembering how much the barge tweaking changed their mineral needs... oh, the misery Roll so some will make ISK... some will not... and others, with the same lack of foresight, will keep losing freighters for their sins...

since the tier system is going down the drain, you could assume that the drake and the ferox bpo will consume around the same amount of materials.
