(didn't realise I was supposed to post issues in the info center, not the issues area -- someone delete this post pls)

Only 1 of my 3 accounts lets me spin my ships in station. They all run off the same install of EVE on my laptop, and have the same settings. But on one account all the toons can spin their ships, the other two accounts none of the toons can spin their ships.

On the accounts where I can't spin I see my ship in the hangar, floating slowly up and down (it's a 3D model, not a bitmap). When I click and hold on the station environment the cursor changes to the up/d/l/r one, but as soon as I move the mouse it reverts to the arrow+menu one, and no ship spinning occurs. Also zooming in/out doesn't work. Whatever I do the ship just sits their bobbing in space.

I've done the obvious "turn off station environment / undock / dock / go to CQ / log off / log on / switch to hangar"... but the accounts that don't work remain not working.

Please check if clearing the client side cache or starting the client using the safe mode (to rule out potential settings issues) helps in any capacity here. If Safe Mode works for your character that couldn't spin before, then clearing the client side settings should help, too (with all that this entails).

Assuming "clearing the client side cache" means going to the escape screen, finding the "reset settings" tab, then doingd "clear all cache files" -- I tried that and it didn't help.

As for starting in safe mode... no idea how to do that.

Also no idea why clearing my cache comes with the warning of "all that entails".

But as I said.... just delete this post and I assume all the people complaining in the info center will get it fixed in a patch...
