In the mood to pick a few fights and I do love my Minmatar AFs. Anyone have any successful fits to share?

Been having some good fun with this fit:
[Wolf, PvP 400mm]
Damage Control II
400mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Gyrostabilizer II
Coreli C-Type Adaptive Nano Plating
Coreli C-Type Small Armor Repairer

Coreli C-Type 1MN Afterburner
Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I

150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
150mm Light AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
Corpii C-Type Small Nosferatu

Small Trimark Armor Pump I
Small Ancillary Current Router I

10k+ ehp (2800 armor hp)
200 dps
900 m/s crap speed but tanky

Then there's the prom kite wolf:
[Wolf, 280mm]
Micro Auxiliary Power Core I
Co-Processor II
Tracking Enhancer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Gyrostabilizer II

Limited 1MN MicroWarpdrive I
Faint Warp Disruptor I

280mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP S
280mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP S
280mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP S
280mm Howitzer Artillery II, Republic Fleet EMP S
[empty high slot]

Small Projectile Ambit Extension I

no tank to speak of but the alpha from this ***** is ridic
easily hits to 30km with emp depending on skills
would only recommend if you are good at kiting

In the current meta, this works well

[Wolf - cookie cutter kitey kitey wolf wolf]

[High Slots]
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II - Quake S
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II - Quake S
[Empty High Slot]
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II - Quake S
250mm Light Artillery Cannon II - Quake S

[Med Slots]
Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Warp Disruptor II

[Low Slots]
Gyrostabilizer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Tracking Enhancer II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

[Rigs]
Small Projectile Burst Aerator I
Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I

183 dps at 4km optimal, 27km falloff.

This works pretty much like an arty thrasher in a rifter hull. Dont orbit, burn away in a straight line, feel free to use the keep at range butan.
You can swap the nanos for overdrives, but personally I find the increased acceleration and faster directional change afforded by nanos to be more useful than pure straight line speed.
The T2 Quake ammo only drops your optimal (you will always be fighting in falloff anyway unless you're doing it wrong), it adds to the dps considerably and gives a 25% tracking bonus. Keep some RFEMP/RFPP handy, it can be situationally superior.

Swap for a Gistii MWD if you can afford it and want cap stability, otherwise cap lasts 1m20s without implants, which is usually plenty.

Great kite ship. Pop frigs at leisure. Don't engage arty thrashers, dramiels or small missile ships.

You might want to get in touch with Ava Starfire ingame.

She might be a dirty mini, but she certainly knows how to fly a wolf in lowsec. Pirate

Did someone ring?

Ah, wolf fits! Ive flown one of those once or twice...

My usual fit looks something like:

4x 200mm AC II
small nos (C type is good, can nos inside scram range)

J5 scram
B type MWD or limited if youre not feeling spendy

Gyro II
TE II
C type explosive plating
Pseudo DCU
SAR II

Rigs, i run collision + kin resist, though you can probably get away with 2x damage rigs if you want.

Tasty falloff, decent resists, and MWD speed for catching annoying kiting ****. Not like once youre in scram/web range you control range vs other frigs anyway, though that 400 plate fit listed above is a cruiser killer if you can land a scram and manage your nos to keep AB/scram on.

I start firing at 15k or so, and it demands you fly it. Very different philosophy from the 400 RTP fit listed here; the 400 plate bulldozes its way home, where mine demands a bit more finesse, but has much better DPS and gun range, plus, that MWD. I consider the MWD mandatory on the wolf; you have good gun range, and everything else is gonna web you and run circles around you anyway.

The arty fit is nice for picking tacklers off gangs, etc, I am just no good at using it.

My fit dosent work for everyone, but it does ok for me. The issue is that wolf/jaguar are a bit weak compared to vengeance, hawk, harpy, and ishkur. The Jaguar is horribad, the wolf is useable-mostly. I still have fun with it, even if it explodes a lot more now than it did pre AF "update".

Have fun, Ava

Great fit! I haven't crossed trained frigs at all, so once I do I'll check out the other AFs. Curious about the Enyo.
