I have yet to figure out what kind of advantage or use this module could possibly have other than to let battleships stay in range of targets without the use of a friendly frigate to act as a warp to point.

And they thought I was crazy lol ...Dunno if CCP developed this from that https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=36498 . Still think the warp drones would have been a better idea but thanks CCP for saving the blaster boats from a slow death.

Oh and I definitely would like to see this module with range scripts :
- Short Range 20 KM
- Medium Range 50 Km
- Long Range 100 Km

The drone idea sounds terrible.

The MJD looks like it's potentially interesting. Looking at it at the moment it seems rather underwhelming, however if I was going to put it in game I'd rather it be not very good and tweak it so it became good, rather then put it in accidentally so OP that battleships just blink around the galaxy smashing stuff in the face with impunity.

Is it turned off by warp disruption or warp scrambling?
I'd like to think it should be like a MWD, only be able to turn it off with warp scramblers.

If you have more than one point on you when it finishes charging, it won't fire.

The minute spool-up time means that it will effectively useless assuming nothing changes.

This module will solve the one huge problem that makes Gallente useless.

These days, all you have to do is scram and jam a Gallente ship and let sniper BSs peck it to death while it flounders. Even without tackle a sniper/missile ship is going to take it apart in the time it takes to get into optimal. This is why a lot of Gallente pilots are cross trained into Minmatar and Caldari.
